Job role:
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to achieve our revenue goals. Your role will be to generate new leads by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
It is an added advantage if you have experience in developing leads from social media and meeting sales quotas. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from establishing a customer contact, setting up demos to responding with proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify appropriate client leads and work with lead databases
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services to pitch
- Cold-call prospects to pitch products and solutions
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or demos between (prospective) clients and US-based Account Executives
- Maintain customer data and reports on the CRM reports to present prospecting activity and results
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and technology trends
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or having worked in a call center environment
- Hands-on experience with prospecting sales techniques (eg: inbound, outbound, email and social media)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience working with CRM software.
- Fluency in MS Excel.
- Good understanding of US culture and business structures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field.
